The continuing search for missing Nelson teenager Leo Lipp-Neighbours has produced no new leads despite Search and Rescue recently scouring the Whangamoa area including the lower Whangamoa Creek.

"The search is still very much alive," said Tasman police district assistant SAR co-ordinator Sherp Tucker.

"We wanted to check the creek to see if there was a chance of a vehicle leaving the road there.

"The Whangamoas is one of the most obvious places he could have gone."

Fifteen SAR members undertook the search, but Mr Tucker said future searches would depend on evidence.

"If anyone has any thoughts or evidence then we really want to hear it."
