A Blenheim man has been arrested in Nelson on charges relating to the possession of the drug P.

The man was arrested at 7.25pm on Friday and is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine for supply, possession of methamphetamine utensils, possession of cannabis and one charge of falsely using a document, said Senior Constable Phil Wylie, of the Nelson police.

Sergeant Tony Yardley, of the Blenheim police, said he did not know the age of the man and would not comment on where the arrest took place or any other details.
