Subway at Motueka is to reopen after a four-month closure.

The company which ran the fast-food outlet, Lucky Five, went into liquidation and closed the High St shop.

Liquidator Geoff Falloon, of Biz Rescue, said the assets had been sold to another franchisee, who planned to reopen the outlet soon.

The liquidator's first report to the Companies Office showed Lucky Five had an estimated deficit of more than $300,000.

Following another liquidation, new owners have taken over running the Nelson computer maintenance service Call a Geek in Halifax St.

Call a Geek Ltd went into liquidation two weeks ago showing an estimated deficit of $9500.

Zamskys Ltd, which ran the Petz ‘n' All shop in Rutherford St, has left creditors $109,659 out of pocket, Mr Falloon's final liquidation report filed in the Companies Office shows.
