While you might be used to seeing all manner of wildlife, from birds of prey to grazing sheep, in Nelson's vineyards, it's not every day that a baby seal is spotted amongst the vines.
Waimea Estates General manager and viticulturist Ben Bolitho was surprised to find the unexpected visitor just before dark on Thursday evening, and captured the moment on video.
