GUTTED: A vehicle that had been involved in a crash with a ute on the corner of Landsdown Road and Queen St on Wednesday was tipped over and burnt out overnight.

A crashed car has now been torched.

The car with its front stoved in was left at the intersection of Lansdowne Rd and Queen St, near Richmond on Wednesday.

Then at 1am yesterday it was set alight.

Richmond Volunteer Fire Brigade chief fire officer Ralph Lonsdale said witnesses saw people leaving the scene just as the car was catching fire.

Police are investigating the crash and arson.
