A female farm worker from Springs Junction has been flown to Nelson Hospital after a crash.
The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter said the 25-year-old woman suffered moderate injuries in the crash after she was apparently clipped by a vehicle towing a caravan.
She was flown from the scene, just south of Maruia on State Highway 6, at 10am this morning.
A helicopter spokesman said it appeared an oncoming vehicle towing a caravan was passing a vehicle, also towing a caravan, when the accident happened.
The collison sent the woman's vehicle spinning off the road into a bank.
It is believed the occupants of the other vehicles were uninjured.
