A Nelson woman who tried setting fire to a building belonging to the Red Devils motorbike club has been convicted and sentenced to 200 hours' community work, and ordered to pay $150 reparation.
The woman, who was given final name suppression, admitted in the Nelson District Court on Wednesday a charge on January 4 of intentional damage by setting fire to a garage which belonged to the club.
Judge Ian Mill also suppressed particulars of the case that would lead to her being identified.
