Police have completed interviews with the two victims of sexual assaults in the Bridge St area last week and have also investigated all of the information put forward by members of the public.
Investigators are now awaiting the results of forensic testing by ESR to see if that can provide any assistance to the investigation.

He said the possibility that the incidents were linked had not been ruled out.Police would still like to hear from anyone who was in the Queen's Gardens area on Sunday, February 3 between 1am and 1.30am, and anyone who was in the Maitai Walkway - Normanby Bridge area on Thursday, February 7 about 10pm.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who has been approached or made to feel uncomfortable by a male in that area of town and who has not previously reported the incident. Contact Nelson Police on 546 3840.
