Only 40 tickets remain for tomorrow night's Classic Hits Winery Tour concert at Neudorf Vineyard, and Saturday night's show is a sellout.

It's the seventh annual winery tour and Neudorf is the "spiritual home of the event" because the very first vineyard concert was held there.

Promoter Brent Eccles said the event was conceived over a bottle of Neudorf Pinot Noir.

"Bic Runga performed two magical shows at Neudorf - surrounded by rolling hills of vines, great wine and food in a stunning location - The Winery Tour became an annual event," he said.

This year Fat Freddy's Drop will be supported by The Adults (with Jon Toogood, Julia Deans and Shayne Carter) and the three women lineup of Anika Moa, Hollie Smith and Boh Runga. The show opens with Clara van Wel - the winner of New Zealand's Got Talent.

Neudorf co-owner Judy Finn said the weather forecast for tomorrow and Saturday was stunning and the lineup extraordinary.

The vineyard was currently full of trucks and giant generators.

"It's a huge machine getting this concert open - lights in the paddocks, coffee carts, pizza ovens, enormous speakers and all the paraphernalia that comes with a great night out."
