Victory Square came alive with music and mad hats during the fourth annual Little Day Out event.
Andrea Barker, of the Victory Community Association, said yesterday's event was "brilliant", with about 3500 people streaming in throughout the day.
"There was a great crowd. It was really solid all day," she said. The musical lineup included Smooth Cone Sounds, The Johnnys, The Immigrants, Samba del Sol, and original music from Victory's Dayna Sanerivi and Rough Cuts.
Ms Barker said other highlights included the "fantastic" Mad Hatters Tea Party, organised by Victory artist Lou-Darcie Lewis, and "it was great to see people get involved in some of the fundraising activities".
"A big thank you has to go to Community Art Works for all their costumes and props," she said.
