Big Lotto win for Black Cat player

A Stoke man is $666,667 richer after a Lotto win.

The man claimed his prize at the Black Cat dairy in Annesbrook Dr yesterday afternoon

He was one of three first-division winners in Saturday’s draw, each netting $666,667. The two other winners are in Auckland and Mosgiel.

Black Cat manager Tania Murray said he was a local man who was regular, and had chosen his own numbers for his ticket.

It was also a thrill for the store which last sold a winning first-division ticket about eight years ago.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday and has jackpotted to $6 million.
