Editorial: The search for Leo

OPINION: As each day goes by the mystery of young Leo Lipp-Neighbours' disappearance deepens.
No matter what has happened to him, he should have been found by now.
That he has not indicates that he and his orange Toyota Corolla station wagon are in an inaccessible place, either by design or accident.
It seems most likely that he is somewhere in the Nelson region, perhaps even close to the city, though extensive searches have failed to find any trace of him.
Mr Lipp-Neighbours' family and friends have made every possible effort to find him, not giving up after the official effort ended.
They are still trying, 16 days after he disappeared. They won't have peace of mind until he is located.
Anyone out and about in the district, the region or across the top of the south should be on the lookout for signs of the missing man or his car.
With no clues to work on, he could be anywhere – and an alert passer-by might make all the difference to bringing the mystery to an end.
