More than 1000 Nelsonians headed to Saxton Field on Saturday afternoon to lend their support to the Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Teams from across the region dressed the part to walk around the 500-metre track for 17 hours to remember those lost to cancer.
Nelson Mail photographer Patrick Hamilton was there to capture the action. These and other photographs from the event are available from Nelson Mail offices.
