Nelson people had the chance to donate money to a worthy cause and try some alternative healing techniques in the city last weekend.

The Healing Day was organised by a local couple, Durga Aran and Fionna Heiton, who are raising money to establish a childcare centre in the Himalayan country of Nepal through their First Steps Himalaya trust.
