After turning plenty of heads around the Nelson region during the past week, hundreds of Minis were on show to the public at the Enza packhouse complex on Saturday.

Nearly 250 Minis of all types and colours were in the region for a week-long celebration of the car's 50th birthday hosted by the Nelson Mini Car Club.

Nelson Mail photographer Martin de Ruyter and student Rosie Finn checked out the classic cars. These photos and others taken at the same time are available for purchase from any Nelson Mail office.
