Motueka remain at home as they look to maintain their narrow three-point lead in round three of the Car Company Nelson two-day senior cricket competition tomorrow.

Motueka will host Car Company Stoke-Nayland at Memorial Park with two full days of cricket hopefully in store after two previously rain-affected rounds.

Sprig and Fern WTTU are also unbeaten after sharing the points in their opening round clash with Waimea College.

WTTU head to Victory Square tomorrow to take on a Wakatu side that have secured the competition's only outright win after last weekend's manufactured four-wicket win over Taylor Contracting Wanderers.

Wanderers return home to the Brightwater Domain, where they will host Waimea College.

Motueka lead the two-day competition after two first innings wins on 14 points, followed by Wakatu on 11, WTTU 10, Stoke-Nayland 8, Wanderers 5 and Waimea College 4.

Should the Tasman Rugby Union consider taking legal action against the NZRU in order to save the Makos?

Yes, if it comes to that and they have a good case.

No, that's not the New Zealand way.

Don't know and don't care.
