The Waimea College tennis team of Ashleigh Calder, Laura Wehner, Amanda Coeland, Breanne Johnson and Taylor Cockburn will compete in the South Island secondary schools' teams tournament in Timaru from March 12-14.
They will be joined by the Nelson College team of Alex Hunt, Hamish Low, Bo Ade-Simpson and Seung-woo Hong.
These teams won the Tasman regionals last month, with Waimea College beating Nelson College for Girls and Nelson College beating Marlborough Boys' College in the finals.
Nelson College were second at last year's South Island tournament, with the top two teams qualifying for the nationals.
