Touch re-grading now completed
Nelson Touch Association Draw: November 27-29
ALEISHA HARTRelevant offers
Touch teams re-grading has been completed now, with a few changes to both the Tuesday and Thursday night modules.
On Tuesday nights the three previous grades have been re-graded into four to make for a more evenly matched competition.
On Thursday nights a few teams have been moved within the existing grades, but the major change has been to combine the Social 1 and Men’s Open grades as a means of promoting the elite competition. All team managers have been notified of the changes via email.
There will still be a play-off for the four top placings in both grades – Social 1 and men’s Open – with eight teams to contest their respective finals. The women’s grade remains unchanged with good team numbers and evenly matched games. The final games for the year will be December 18 for the Tuesday module and December 20 for the Thursday module.
After the last Thursday games on December 20 there will be a Touch Christmas Party at the Turf Hotel, Main Road, Stoke.
Age Grade
The Age Grade competition is more than half way through with some very close games, and the finals only a few games away on December 11.
