A 360-degree flip - on a unicycle

Suspended in midair, Adrien Delecroix kept the crowd in suspense when he attempted to land a forward 360-degree flip on his unicycle.
Though he could not make the landing stick, the Frenchman had a strong performance as the favourite in the expert male freestyle finals yesterday at Wellington's Waitangi Park.
The event was part of the street skills section of the Unicycle World Championships, being held in the city.
Results will not be released until later today – but wherever he finishes, Delecroix remains the only person to have landed the front flip in competition, when he won the world title in 2008.
The 10-day competition, which is being held for the 15th time, opened with 640 unicyclists from 23 countries parading along Wellington's waterfront on December 28.
Yesterday's wild weather forced the postponement of a 10km race along the waterfront. "The wind was just too dangerous," co-ordinator Arthur Klap said.
The race will now take place today at 6pm. Unicycle basketball will also be on at the TSB Arena all day.
The event was turning out to be a hit, Mr Klap said.
"It's been great, it's an unusual event – it way over-delivers. We're getting a lot of people in to watch."
The championships wrap up on Thursday with a marathon road race.
