A teenager from England ran naked through central Queenstown yesterday before he was caught by police.
Sergeant Steve Watt, of Queenstown, said the 19-year-old decided to strip and run along Shotover St at 2.25am.
He tried to run and hide from police and managed to get his underpants back on before officers caught him, Watt said.
The teenager was given a precharge warning at the Queenstown police station for offensive behaviour and released.
