A Russian man who famously tattooed more than 50 stars onto an 18-year-old's face, has inked his name onto the face of his girlfriend after only knowing her for 24 hours.
According to the Daily Mail, Lesya Toumaniantz from Saransk, Russia, allowed Rouslan Toumaniantz to sign 'Ruslan' over her face in giant Gothic script on the day they met.
The pair are now married after first meeting in an online chat room and then meeting face-to-face earlier this year.
They got engaged the following day.
"It's a symbol of our eternal devotion. I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body," Lesya said.
She is now learning how to tattoo under her husband's tutelage, and the pair have plans to have children.
A friend of Toumaniantz told the Mail the pair had come up against criticism.
'I know that there are people who are terrified that Lesya has made a rash decision that she'll regret horribly, but sometimes the best decisions are the ones you make in an instant with your heart rather than the ones long-debated in your mind."
In 2009, Toumaniantz made headlines across the world when an 18-year-old Belgium girl tried to sue him, claiming he inked 56 stars onto her face while she slept.
Kimberley Vlaeminckin initially claimed she had only asked for three stars near her eye, but woke to find 56.
She later retracted her claims and confessed to asking for all 56 stars, but not before Toumaniantz was forced to flee Belgium.
