It's not the kind of headline you want to see, your own death.
An 81-year-old man in Sweden still getting over the shock of reading his death notice in the local paper.
Sven-Olof Svensson was flicking through the Jonkopings-Posten when he came across the obituary.
It had been sent in by his sister after he had been taken to hospital on Christmas Eve when he was feeling "unwell," the New York Daily News reported.
Apparently his sister totally misunderstood the doctors and thought Svensson was dead.
Svensson has managed to find the funny side.
"It's understandable to me that there may have been a mistake, even if it was fatal, in this case," Svensson told theLocal.SE.
"We are all on the same road. Sooner or later, you are going to end up in the obituary section. I've lived a fantastic long life."
