It's the beauty we rarely see. The Earth's surface whizzing by - oceans of blue, seas of lights.
Using Nasa footage, 18-year-old Tomislav Safundzin, a video-editing aficionado from Croatia, has created a glorious time-lapse video of Earth.
The clip gives people that chance to see the planet as the crew of Expedition 31 saw it from the International Space Station from April 23 to June 5.
Astronaut Ron Garan told The Atlantic's website that seeing our planet like that imparted the realisation "that we are all riding through the universe together on this spaceship we call Earth.
"That we are all interconnected, that we are all in this together, that we are all family," he said.
The Expedition 31 crew returned to Earth last night after six months in space.
