Qantas yesterday said it would start a third year-round Queenstown to Sydney flight starting on February 21.

Qantas New Zealand regional general manager Grant Lilly said there was extra capacity on the Queenstown-Sydney route during the peak summer and winter seasons, which complemented its existing two year-round services.

The new service would operate on Sundays.
