South still tops table

The south is leading the nation again after its service sector produced the highest BNZ-Business NZ performance of service index figure in February.
The Southland-Otago region is at 55.7 points which was down on January by 3.3 points, but was still one point above the northern region, the next closest sector.
A service index reading above 50 points indicates the sector is generally expanding and a result below that threshold shows it is declining.
Last month Otago Southland Employers' Association chief executive John Scandrett said he expected the Southland-Otago figure would drop for February because it was so high in January.
He was pleased with the stability the figure showed.
"For the last four months the local survey outcomes have demonstrated a strong expansionary theme across the service industry sector,'' Mr Scandrett said.
"In our region we received strong feedback on cruise ship and tourist activity and linked to that an accommodation sector uplift."
