The SBS Bank has notched up a $250,000 milestone this month with its latest round of giveaways through its SBS Star banking package.
It has been just more than two years since the incentive was launched and nearly 150 non-profit groups have benefited as winners of one of the 10 $1000 prizes handed out each month.
SBS Bank corporate performance general manager Lana Winders said the establishment of SBS Star was a way the bank could reward its hard working voluntary groups. All non-profit club, schools, playcentres charity or arts groups could join SBS Star.
Among the latest round of the winners was a hat-trick for Gore, with the Gore Dancesports Supporters Club being joined by two first-time winners, Air Training Corps No 28 and Swim Southland.
