Business insights sought
@devlincolle: Southland businesses are being urged to take part in an online business survey of the region.
Venture Southland enterprise projects co-ordinator Rhiannon Suter said more businesses taking part would better reflect the pulse of the region.
"We are hoping to get as many respondents as possible to give everyone in the region an idea of what's happening out there."
The survey would provide an accurate snapshot of business confidence in the south and useful information for businesses planning, she said. Businesses would be asked about employment trends, technology, challenges, pressures, and opportunities in 2014.
About 2000 businesses on the Venture Southland database would get the survey, but other businesses were urged to fill out the survey on its website. Businesses have until March 7 to complete the survey.
Ms Suter said she expected to have the results correlated a week later. The survey is set to become a regular initiative to correlate business data and measure trends.
