Carly Flynn has announced she is pregnant with her first child.
The TV3 Sunrise presenter confirmed weekend reports during this morning's broadcast when co-host Oliver Driver asked her if she had any news.
"Yes, alright Olly, yes it is happening," Flynn replied. "There's no worm or eel in my tummy but there is a little baby."
Flynn said she was excited and "almost halfway" through the pregnancy.
It will be her first child with husband Dave Flynn. The pair married in 2006.
TV3 said there was no announcement on a replacement for Flynn while she was on maternity leave.

@ Wellknown NZr...lighten up will ya. No one likes a tall poppy throwing his weight around. Though i'd pay money to watch your attempt to bring Faifax to it's knees.
I'd be sooo gutted if this was an article about Samantha Hayes.
