Jackson on hunt for 'character faces'

Casting for extras with "character faces'' for Peter Jackson's film The Hobbit is taking place in Queenstown today.

Queenstown's Exposure Agency said in an advertisement for the casting that, they were looking for men and women between 25 and 80 years with character faces, of all shapes and sizes and men with beards.

It includes people with missing teeth, limbs and anything that adds character to a person.

Casting is held at the Queenstown Events Centre from 2pm until 3.30pm.
