Manapouri Art Group president and artist Jan Powell with one of her paintings at the art group's annual Labour Weekend exhibition on Saturday.
About 180 pieces were on show, including paintings, glasswork, patchwork, photography, jewellery, pottery and ceramics, and public support had been ''very good,'' she said.
''We are quite pleased with it all.''
The event, held in the Manapouri Motor inn, attracted a good crowd, and the art was especially pleased with the number of young artists who contributed work, she said.
The exhibition finishes today at 4pm.
