Pioneering act Rudimental and Christchurch performers Shapeshifter will headline two days of music at the 2013 Rhythm and Alps Festival in the Cardrona Valley.
Organisers say Rudimental will bring their explosive energy and talented mixing skills in the form of a DJ set to New Year's Eve. The group topped the United Kingdom charts with their No 1 hits, the Brit Award-nominated Feel The Love and Waiting All Night.
Electronic outfit Shapeshifter continue to sell out shows from Gisborne to Glastonbury. With multiple music awards and platinum sales they set dance floors moving with their experimental blend of soulful electronica and drum and bass.
South London's independent record label Hospital Records, one of the most respected dance labels in the world, is returning to Rhythm and Alps for the second time with their Hospitality club night, due to popular demand
Also performing will be Tahuna Breaks, The Funk Hunters, Recloose, P-Money, David Dallas, @peace, Concord Dawn, Bulletproof, The Nomad, Louis Baker, Mayavanya, Reality Chant & MC Silva & Jah Red Lion, Steve Ward, Jamie Stevens, Thankyou City, Estére, Kev Fresh, Thanks, and Gasp.
Tickets for the two-day event are capped at 5000.
