That 70s Show actress Lisa Robin Kelly has died.
Kelly, who played Eric Forman's older sister, died in her sleep in a rehab centre, TMZ reported this morning.
She was 43.
Kelly's agent told TMZ she had been "fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle."
Only a week earlier she had voluntarily checked herself into rehab determined to clean herself up.
Kelly's life had been spiralling out of control since the end of the sitcom. Over the last three years she had been arrested at least four times for drink-driving, spousal abuse and assault.
According to TMZ, Kelly's boyfriend blamed the relapse on her estranged husband.
TMZ reported that Kelly started drinking again after her estranged husband Robert Gilliam assaulted her in May.
Gilliam had been fighting with Kelly over her That 70s Show money.
One month later she was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and released on $US5000 bail.
Last month Kelly filed for a divorce as Gilliam was convicted of domestic battery.
Kelly opened up about her drug and alcohol abuse last year, telling Good Morning America: "I had lost a baby, as a result of that, I lost everything.
"And I was abusing alcohol, which I no longer do. With the 70s show, I was guilty - of the drinking problem - and I ran."
However, she told the morning show that she had put her problems behind her. She also denied that her husband had been abusive towards her.
Kelly starred in more than 50 episodes of That 70s Show but she was let go and replaced after the fifth season.
In the years since her last episode, her physical appearance changed dramatically: her face looked drawn and her skin was blotchy.
