The curtain goes up for Bluff Drama Club's comedy musical set in a prison next week.
The concept for Bad Girlz came from club member Julie Mason, and was written by fellow members April Fisher and Shelly Perkins.
''We put her vision down on paper,'' Mrs Perkins said.
Mrs Perkins said Bad Girlz follows the trials and tribulations of the prisoners and guards at Campbelltown Penitentiary and promises a good laugh.
''It's a tongue-in-cheek comedy with a good twist,'' she said.
The Bluff Drama Club decided to provide food with each performance, transforming the Bluff Town Hall into a theatre restaurant.
Opening night is Thursday, October 3, and the $10 ticket price includes a supper.
The performances on Friday and Saturday nights, October 4 and 5, cost $50 and include a four-course meal.
