Southland duo Into The East have been named as finalists for the Best Folk Album Tui award.
Into the East spent 18 months crafting ''Fight From the Inside''.
The duo of Liv McBride and Graeme Woller have performed together for the past nine years.
Recorded Music NZ chief executive officer Damian Vaughan was impressed with this year's line-up.
"All three finalists have produced excellent folk albums. Congratulations to each act, they should all be immensely proud of this achievement."
The Tui for the Best Folk Album 2014 is being presented at the 41st annual Auckland Folk Festival in Kumeu (West Auckland) following the 'Tui Finalists Concert' on January 26.
The other finalists are:
Auckland solo artist Chris Priestley and Auckland duo Tattletale Saints.
