Clashes in the Big Day Out schedule have disgruntled some festivalgoers, with many pleading for timing improvements.
The clashes causing most offence for the concert, at Western Springs on Friday next week, are Pearl Jam, Deftones, Snoop Dogg, and Ghost.
Complaints are streaming through on Facebook and Twitter. Many say event organisers erred with the decision to put Pearl Jam and Deftones on at the same time, because as 90s alternative bands, they would attract the same crowd.
On the event's Facebook page, commenters have weighed in on the timing.
"We want Pearl Jam, Deftones, Snoop and Ghost not to clash!!!! c'mon guys," wrote Karl Bramall.
One commenter said it was the "worst timetable out."
Similar complaints were made on twitter.
Australian BDO fans were reassured in August last year there would be no clashes between their major headlining acts, which were defined as Major Lazer, Snoop Dogg, Blur, Pearl Jam and Arcade Fire.
