SIT flash mob

Relevant offers

People wandering down Esk St, in Invercargill, at lunchtime today got a sweet surprise when Southern Institute of Technology students formed a flash mob and performed a classic Kiwi song.

About 50 SIT bachelor of contemporary music students sang, danced, and played What's the Time Mr Wolf by Southside of Bombay, while shoppers and people on their lunch break paused to take photos and listen to the piece.

It began with a lone singer with an acousitc guitar but he was soon joined by more vocalists, guitarists, as well as some brass and percussion players.

They all disappeared rather quickly at the end of the song, leaving the soloist to finish the tune.
