Kanye West is reportedly giving Kim Kardashian a "pivotal" role in his movie.
The rapper is known to be working on a script with American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, who also penned Lindsay Lohan's film The Canyons.
West has reportedly decided the flick will be the perfect way to launch his fiancée Kardashian's big screen career, so has already come up with a part for her.
"It's going to be based on the Yeezus album. That's pretty much a narrative of Kanye's life," an insider told RadarOnline.com.
"[Kanye] will not appear in the movie [but] Kim is definitely going to be in it. The screenplay already features her character.
"They're still working on the script, so it's unclear at this point if Kim will be a major star of the movie or making a smaller cameo but her role in the movie will be pivotal."
Kardashian's character is apparently "dramatic" and worlds away from how she is in real life. It won't be her first film credit; she appeared in last year's release Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor and in 2008's Disaster Movie.
Hip-hop star West is reportedly planning to direct the release and wants to have a hand in all areas of production.
The rapper's late mother Donda will also get a mention as the movie will be in memory of her. She passed away in 2007 after suffering complications following cosmetic surgery. He has been open about how close they were and recently told the audience at one of his concerts that his biggest regret is that she didn't get to meet his daughter North, whose mom is Kim.
At the moment there has been no official confirmation about the film's storyline or when it'll hit screens. Bret has spoken about working with West though, admitting he initially had doubts but then warmed to the outspoken star.
"He came and asked me to write the film. I didn't want to at first," Bret explained to Vice.
"Then I listened to Yeezus. It was early summer last year and I was driving in my car. He'd given me an advance copy, and I thought, regardless of whether I'm right for this project, I want to work with whoever made this. So f**k it, I said yes. And that's how it happened. That was seven or eight months ago. We'll see what happens... [We're] in Kanye land, and that's subject to a whole other time frame."
