Before they were famous...
NZ On Screen is opening their treasure trove again to reveal footage of some precocious pre-fame Kiwis.
The website has re-launched the popular collection with an additional 15 titles.
NZ On Screen Content Director Irene Gardiner said the collection debuted on the site last year, and got a great response from the public.
"People really enjoyed seeing the early footage of people who are now well-known, and we got a few suggestions from site visitors of other shows we could track down, so we decided to do a bit of an update.
"The current affairs piece with the young Helen Clark is fascinating. She looks quite different, with long wavy hair, but you can also see that she's smart and able.
"Lucy Lawless' role in the short film Peach is her first speaking part in a film, and definitely shows her potential. Jim Hickey used to do quite a few small acting roles before he became a TV weatherman. He also features very briefly in an episode of Children of the Dog Star we have on the site."
