Reviews: General fiction
This is one of those books that start from the beginning and go nowhere.
Laura gave up her independence in Paris to look after her aging mother in Winchester, believing that her opportunity for romance has gone. Then along came Ben, an old flame. Even though Ben is married, they still try to make a go of it.
This would have to be for me, the most frustrating book I have read for quite some time. The story line was almost non-existent. The characters didn't come alive for me and after finishing reading it, I struggled to remember what it was about.
A truly uninspiring book.
