Santa-land organising committee members, from left, Jackie Ashby, Pauline Allen and Sandra Allison admire the Christmas lights and decorations in the Round Table hall in Mersey St, Gore.

More than 10,000 lights have been hung up throughout the hall, with areas set up to represent different parts of Christmas.

The committee, made up of five women, and some helpers spent the past 10 days setting up the hall.

About 1500 people went through the hall last year and the committee is hoping for the same turnout this year.

The hall will be open between 6pm and 9pm today and tomorrow and between 1pm and 6pm on Sunday.
