The Allan family at their reunion held at the Gore Racecourse earlier this month.

The reunion was held in Gore as the Allan great grandparents had farmed around Arthurton and Pukerau and grandparents in Upper Charlton.

Family spokesman Anne Mills, formerly Anne Allan, said four generations of the family had attended with the youngest, 5-months-old and the oldest over the age of 80.

''It was a wonderful day.''
