It’s been nearly an entire month since Miranda Kerr did what she does best and starred in a racy fashion shoot and gave good, if not vague, quotes. Thankfully, the good folk at Net-A-Porter have filled the void.
Following on from the infamous chat with and steamy cover shoot with Mario Testino, Kerr is now the cover star of the online luxury retailer’s monthly e-magazine, , looking as sultry as ever.
Accompanying theinspired spread, the model-turned-mogul, who was mid-juice cleanse at the time of the interview, speaks of her passion for driving, optimism and privacy from the paparazzi.
She also compared herself to a tradie.
"Privacy is the most important thing, especially being a mother... If I'm on my way to work and they get a photo, it's fine. But if somebody wants to have a day off... Can you imagine being a builder and having to build on your day off?” she ponders.
“I get my photo taken for a living, and when I have a day off, they’re still taking photos. I have perspective about it, but it’s just nice to have little moments when they don’t intrude.”
Kerr also shot a short film for the feature.
, is no , mainly because it’s merely two minutes of Kerr smirking and winking better than Tony Abbott on a stationary motorcycle, but at the very least it manages to show off her sense of humour.
“It’s good for a blow dry,” she says of the bike before awkwardly pointing out the different parts of the machine.
