Fashion reporter Craig Lawson hits the city streets to find out who is wearing what.

Steph Wiseman, 21, Otago law student
I got my jacket from Bondi in Australia. I love Aussie fashion, they are more about summer. The colour is why I picked it, it's different from black.

My dress is from Filter, in Dunedin. It's summery but casual and I like the tie-dye effect.

I am on holiday, so l went for a more relaxed look without makeup today. I usually wear natural-looking makeup with a dark colour to highlight my eyes.

I look for direction in fashion from my friends and magazines.

Erin Ward, 25, marketing consultant
My shoes are Tony Bianco from Sydney, they are like art in a shoe, and I bought them for fashion not comfort, so I feel frivolous in them.

This is a Guess handbag from a duty-free store.  It's my one and only handbag. I am not one of those girls who changes handbags all the time. I find one and I stick with it.

The top is from Ezibuy but it dresses up the jeans and is flattering to wear.

I like funky, fun jewellery, it just finishes off an outfit.

Annie Close, 50, manager
This dress I got from Farmers. I love the colour, love the cut, and feel it's quite flattering for an old girl like me. Layers look really good on women in my age group  it's all about layers.

My shoes are Boston Belle from H & J Smith and could just wear them forever.

I have three pairs of specs  they can change with different outfits, and they are very mod. I got this pair in Italy and have another from Germany.

This handbag carries everything, its such a personal choice when choosing a handbag. I like the size; mind you, the bigger the handbag the more you have in it.
