Although many beautiful public and private gardens in Southland feature on various websites and publications, there is no current one-stop visitor guide.

A group of garden owners have come together to address this gap.

They seek more gardens to be included, from small city gardens to large country gardens, formal, informal, quirky, native or exotic, and from Invercargill, Gore, Winton, Riverton, South Catlins and the areas in between. The main criteria for inclusion is being available for viewing by appointment.

Anyone interested in this project is welcome to contact Lynne Huggins at folstergardens@xtra.co.nz or phone 2141796.
