Sneaker freaks, you're about to wig out, as there are some pretty sick kicks on show in Auckland right now. And they could be yours. Oh, and it's also all for a good cause.
Too much, too much, we know.
One Percent Collective, a not-for-profit charity that encourages people to donate 1% of their income to charity, has gathered 10 of NZ's most talented artists, tattooists, designers and graffiti writers and let them loose on the sweet canvas that is a pair of white Nike trainers.
Artists involved include Otiz Frizell, Billy Apple, Dean and Dan Sacred of Sacred Tattoo, Arch from In House Design, Markus Hofko, Component & Trust Me of Cut Collective, Owen Dippie, Melissa Sharplin and Elliot Stewart.
The diverse sneakers are currently on display at Fukuko and the Nike store in Britomart, Auckland, and, on August 29 there will be an auction to sell off the kicks at Fukuko - with all proceeds going to Auckland's wonderful Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre.
Oh, and us Life & Style girls will personally fight anyone who bids against us on those Melissa Sharplin sneaks on the night*.
* not really. Well, maybe.
