In yet another 'so-cringe-worthy-you-can't-help-but-stare' moment, Miley Cyrus has shared some delightful pics of the new addition to her ever-growing tattoo collection.

Complete with whiskers and even a sliding tear, the 21-year-old's latest ink comes in the form of a yellow 'sad kitty' face positioned on her inner bottom lip.

Miley took to Instagram to share two up-close-and-personal photos with her millions of followers - as if we haven't seen enough tongue and mouth shots to last a lifetime.

The tattoo might be seen as a way to pay homage to her headline-grabbing performance at the 2013 American Music Awards, during which she sang "Wrecking Ball" as a giant cat mouthed the lyrics on a screen behind her.

While the singer isn't saying whether it's the real deal, her friend Katy Weaver posted a pic in which she and Miley both showed off their lower lips along with the caption, "We got tattoos on our lips... What the f---"

Miley also posted a Twitpic earlier in the day showing her in the bathtub with a flannel covering her face. "My life right now," she wrote. "#OUCHYBOOBOO"

Although we'd like to believe this is the last we'll see of Miley's mouth ink, it's bound to continue getting its fair share of attention courtesy of the orally fixated star.

Cyrus has about 20 tattoos including a large dreamcatcher, a portrait of her grandmother, the words "Just breathe," quotes from Teddy Roosevelt and a peace sign, heart and cross on her fingers.
