10 celebrities with body quirks

GOOD GRIP: Shailene Woodley has prehensile fingers and toes, meaning they're much more flexible and strong than usual. She can use her feet like most of us use our hands, which actually sounds really useful.
MERMAN: Ashton Kutcher has a condition known as syndactyly on his toes, which means they're webbed together. It's not known whether this makes him a better swimmer.
SMALL SCAR: Joaquin Phoenix was born with the little scar above his top lip, called a microform cleft. It's a milder form of a cleft lip, and we think it adds character.
IF I HAD A TAIL: Kesha was a little different right from birth, as she was born with a tail about half a centimetre long. Somehow this isn't as surprising as it should be.
BATTLE SCAR: The large scar on Padma Lakshmi's forearm is the mark of a survivor. The star was in a car crash as a teenager, and her arm was completely shattered. She made a full recovery, and doesn't let the scar knock her confidence.
THUMBS UP: Megan Fox's thumbs don't often appear in photos, but when they do you might look twice. They're shorter than most people's, and have a stubby shape that fortune tellers call "murderer's thumb".
SMOOTH: Karolína Kurková is another beautiful survivor of childhood surgery - her lack of belly button is the result of an operation when she was a baby. Another way she's a little more than human.
MISMATCH: Mila Kunis has one brown eye and one green, but she wasn't born that way. One of her eyes changed colour due to a condition called chronic iritis, which made her blind in one eye for years. Now that her vision's back to full strength, having two different coloured eyes is a pretty enviable side effect.
SIX FINGERS: Bond girl Gemma Arterton was born with six fingers on each hand, but they were removed when she was a baby. The method was pretty grim: doctors tied off her fingers to cut their blood supply until they fell off. Doesn't look like it's done her any harm in the long term.
DEEP V: Harry Styles has four nipples and while we can't see them here, his plunging neckline is close enough.
