British professional golfer Ian Poulter is the proud recipient of the first delivery in North America of a unique Ferrari FF that reflects his personality and design skills.
The car has been delivered via Ferrari Tailor Made, the ultimate automotive personalisation programme.
The world's 25th-ranked golfer, who is renowned in the sport's circles for his unique personal dress sense and who has his own clothing company, IJP Design, chose a triple-layer paint for the exterior in ''Sabbia'', a pearlescent white.
Inside, the Ferrari FF is trimmed in black Poltrona Frau Leather with highlights trimmed in the Tartan cloths that the golfer has made a personal trademark in his own fashion lines.
Red highlights are used on dashboard and instruments.
The boot is lined with carbon fibre and a unique sports fabric that also reflects golf design and style.
The Ferrari Tailor Made programme enables owners to select materials and designs that reflect their own life, personality and passions and for these to be used in their new Ferrari.
Clients work with Ferrari's own designers to develop these new design choices and, in doing so, often use materials never previously seen in a Ferrari.
Poulter's Ferrari FF is, for example, the first Ferrari to use tartan as an interior trim or design feature.
Despite earning fame as a professional golfer, Poulter is also a known car enthusiast with a garage that includes a Ford GT, a Bentley Continental GT, and a Ferrari California.
