It all comes at price, but basically US buyers who want to part with US$2995 (NZ$3638) on top of their 2013 Charger R/T or US$2500 (NZ$3036) for the R/T Road and Track version, will get limited-edition trim outside, including black hood stripes, roof wrap, spoiler and special 20-inch polished aluminium wheels.

Inside, there is special embroidery, stitching and piping on the seats, aluminium trip. pedal kit, Beats Audio System and a plaque on the dashboard indicating which of the 2500 models you lined up for.

It will come with a choice of four colours Daytona Blue (of course), Bright White, Billet Silver or Pitch Black.

The rear-wheel-drive Daytona Charger, which will be powered by the 370 horsepower Hemi V8, will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show which opens this week.

".... the 2013 Dodge Charger is a modern day muscle car, and the new Charger Daytona takes it to a new level by paying homage to the historic 'Daytona' nameplate," Reid Bigland, the president and CEO of Dodge Brand, said.

Dodge says recommended prices are US$32,990 (NZ$40,069) for the R/T and $36,495 (NZ$44,326) for the R/T Road & Track Daytona models but you can expect to pay much more here if one ever makes it way to New Zealand with used 2012 Chargers selling for over $80,000 on TradeMe.
