Nicole Scherzinger has joked being a part of the Pussycat Dolls taught her to "accept [herself]" as there was "nowhere to hide" in the skimpy stage attire.
The stunning songstress was the lead singer of the girl group, who disbanded in 2010.
The Pussycat Dolls were famed for their form-fitting wardrobe which showed off their assets and Nicole has joked about how the attire propelled her confidence.
"How to accept myself. There was nowhere to hide in those outfits," she laughed when asked what being part of the group taught her.
"And it was cool to be in a girl group; it's empowering when you've got a sister to back you up."
Nicole always looks perfectly groomed when she steps out. The 34-year-old star has revealed how she always looks picture perfect, admitting she doesn't put too much pressure on herself.
"I've lived many years of being strict with my diet. But now I'm about balance. So I eat sweets, cakes and I work hard. I loved the cake so much yesterday [on her cover shoot] I asked for the recipe - it was beautiful," she told Cosmopolitan magazine.
Nicole has also discussed what she's like off-duty.
The raven-haired beauty likes to relax and wear comfortable clothing when she's spending time with her family.
"When I go home I'm the same girl - just without all the lashes and lights and glamour," she said. "My sister has three kids so I'm Auntie Nani and those nieces are everything to me.
"I have a big family in Kentucky and Hawaii - when I'm there I'm running around with 12 kids playing games. Family means everything. It keeps everything in perspective."
